The CDC director made a stunning comment about the spreading Ebola crisis today, telling world leaders, "In the 30 years I've been working in public health, the only thing like this has been AIDS." Ebola cases in Western Africa are doubling every three weeks and a staggering 1.4 million cases likely by the end of January if the outbreak isn't contained fast.

Fatal Police Shooting in St. Louis
The St. Louis police are responding to protests over last night's fatal shooting of a teen whose family says was unarmed. Police say 17 shots were fired at Vonderrit Myers after he fired first on an off-duty officer. Myers' family says the 18-year-old was just out buying a sandwich with two friends.

Where Is Kim Jong Un?
The last time North Korea's unpredictable leader Kim Jong Un was seen in public, he was noticeably overweight and walking with a limp. That was 37 days ago. Her Final Wish
It wasn't supposed to be this way. The day after celebrating New Year's with her husband, newlywed Brittany Maynard, 29, was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor. In April, she was given six months to live. Since then, she's decided to move to Oregon where she qualifies for a prescription to end her life. Brittany plans to do so on November 1st.
