John Palfrey is head of school at Phillips Academy in Andover, MA. Prior to joining the Andover community, he was the Henry N. Ess III Professor of Law and a Vice Dean at Harvard Law School. He is also a faculty co-director of the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, where he served as executive director. Outside of his work at Andover, Palfrey chairs the board of the Digital Public Library of America. He chairs the board of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
