Subject: Kevin Harvick defends friend, teammate Tony Stewart

USA TODAY

Kevin Harvick defended his boss and friend Tony Stewart, saying the three-time NASCAR champion would never try and run down another driver.

Social Politics - 101: While I have great respect for Mr. Harvick and Mr. Stewart,
the law (civil & criminal) appears to allow for the unintentional result of behavior.
It is sometimes referred to as, an involuntary action that resulted in doing harm.
Same result, whether you intended to or not. In addition, we saw a bad result of
similar hobby racing, when others were crashed, and one sent to the hospital as
a result of Tony just being behind the wheel with a rookie class of race car drivers. Just last year. Now we have a similar situation, only with a much worse result. At some point, you have to grow-up - promote all racing, sign autographs, give rookie drivers advice (even off-track lessons) but you just don't get behind the wheel of a race car ... at these kind of events.
